This session is for organisations and communities who are working/caring for/volunteering alongside those who have been impacted by road trauma.
This workshop uses a trauma-informed lens to develop an understanding of the impact of trauma and awareness of distress symptoms. The workshop aims to upskill participants with techniques which can be used to support someone who is in distress.
This workshop will help you get better informed on:
- The psychological impact of road trauma
- Develop an awareness of distress symptoms
- Learn evidence based techniques to support someone in distress
- Reflect on wellbeing strategies to lessen the impact.
Session duration: Two hours to half a day
