Navigating Grief and Loss

This workshop is designed for organisations and communities that have been impacted by road trauma. It aims to build understanding of the psychological effects of trauma, grief, and loss. Participants will explore common emotional responses, learn how to support themselves and others, and gain insight into where to go for support while navigating grief and loss.

The workshop will help you get better informed on:

  • The psychological impact of road trauma in WA
  • An overview of grief and the different types of loss
  • Understanding common reactions to grief and loss
  • How to support yourself and others
  • An overview of the Road Trauma Support WA Service and levels of support.

Session duration: Two hours to half a day
