The Remove Hazards campaign has come to an end after a three-month focus on building awareness among older adults to making their home safer, checking their eyesight, and wearing safe footwear to reduce the risk of falls and promote healthy ageing.
The Remove Hazards campaign included a television and social media mass media campaign across WA, training for health professionals, three successful community grants, and a series of community events in partnership with York Recreation and Convention Centre, Moorditj Djena, South Lake Ottey Family & Neighbourhood Centre, and the City of Mandurah.

The Healthy Foot Guide was officially launched alongside Moorditj Denja at a launch event held at the South Lake Ottey Family & Neighbourhood Centre (image below).
