You may have noticed the beautiful Aboriginal artwork featured throughout the Road Trauma Support WA (RTSWA) website. The artwork was created by Chanyce, a Kaprun/Noongar woman originally from Kalgoorlie, who has called Perth home for the past two years.
Chanyce has been creating art since high school and is now beginning to pursue more professional opportunities with her work. For Chanyce, art is a way of continuing Aboriginal cultural traditions and sharing stories and history with the wider community.

Chanyce uses a mix of canvas and digital software, including Adobe programs, to create her artwork. Her approach combines contemporary creative techniques with her connection to Aboriginal culture, storytelling and history.
At RTSWA, we are proud to feature Chanyce’s artwork throughout our website. Art can be a powerful way to create connection, share stories and celebrate culture, and having Aboriginal artwork represented across our website is one way we can help create a space where Aboriginal people and communities feel welcomed and represented.
