In partnership with communities and health care providers, the Wheatbelt Public Health Unit has a role to respond to significant public health needs which have been detected and/or anticipated. Our response may entail: – measures to modify the living environment and community facilities; – strategies for the prevention and control of disease and injury; and – strategies to assist communities to make informed choices for a healthy lifestyle.
