WA Primary Health Alliance

WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is supporting people to stay well in the community by funding community-based treatment and support services in Western Australia.

As part of a national Australian Government, initiative, we operate WA’s three Primary Health Networks (PHNs) – Perth South, Perth North and Country WA. This creates a once in a generation opportunity to place primary care at the heart of the WA health system and the mechanism for joining up services across organisations and across boundaries.

Our objectives are to:

  • Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of primary healthcare services for people, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes.
  • Improve coordination of care to ensure people receive the right care in the right place at the right time.
