South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS)

A Nyoongar Association delivering culturally and appropriate holistic health services. To ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities have a right to participate in decision making about the provision of Medical services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the community.

SWAMS aim:
– To ensure that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community have access to a holistic culturally sensitive and relevant Medical service.
– To provide services that offer support, care and education.
– To assist in bridging the gap between cultural and mainstream services.
