Local Drug Action Groups INC

Local Drug Action Groups Inc. works to bring together members of the community who, on a voluntary basis, combine to undertake a range of activities to prevent and reduce alcohol and other drug related harm in their local communities. LDAG has a state-wide network and currently supports over 40 local groups including in towns, schools and workplaces, and covering metropolitan, regional and many remote areas. Roles include providing funding & support for local community initiatives & prevention, and community support/capacity building (information & training, delivering prevention focused activities, and monitoring & responding to local issues and trends). Target groups are Aboriginal people and communities, Young people and Families.
