The deadline for Local Governments to publish their Public Health Plan is fast approaching.
Healthway, with input from key stakeholders, has developed a Public Health Plan template as a practical starting point to support councils in developing and delivering their plans.
WA Preventative Health Strategy
The Labor Government is developing Western Australia’s first Preventative Health Strategy, informed by six collaborative roundtables with government, health, research and community stakeholders.
These discussions will shape practical actions across key areas including mental health, health promotion, immunisation, screening and injury prevention to support better health outcomes across WA.
Arts Against Vaping Funding Opportunities
Healthway has relaunched a grant program aimed at helping communities understand the real impacts of vaping and address misinformation.
They’re seeking partnerships with local arts groups, community organisations and local governments to deliver creative projects that spark conversation and raise awareness about vaping harms.
