Older Adults Preventing Harm from Alcohol and Other Drugs Among Older Adults Pilot Project
Funded by Healthway and delivered by Injury Matters, the Older Adults Preventing Harm from Alcohol and Other Drugs Among Older Adults Pilot Project sought to increase the knowledge, skills and confidence of WA allied health professionals to identify and support older adults at risk of harm from alcohol and other drug use.
Department of Communities Sponsorships Program
Applications are now open for up to $20,000 in funding for community initiatives that align to the Department of Communities objectives of strong families, care for children, inclusive communities, a place to call home, and resilient people and communities.
Round 1 applications close 31 August 2025.
Age-Friendly Communities Connectivity Grants Program
Local Government Professionals WA, in partnership with the Department of Communities, is offering the Age-Friendly Communities Connectivity Grants Program.
The Age-friendly Communities Connectivity Grants Program supports projects that assist people to reduce social isolation and that enhance their connection within their local communities. Projects, programs, events and activities that challenge ageism are encouraged.
