Falls Forum: A WA Perspective on the National Falls Guidelines – Community Care

Join Injury Matters on Tuesday, 18 November, for an informative and action-focused forum discussing the newly updated National Falls Guidelines: Community Care, developed by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care.

This event will take a Western Australian lens to the national guidelines, highlighting initiatives and practical strategies to reduce falls and support healthy ageing in our communities.

  • Detailed overview of key recommendations focusing on: home safety, exercise, balance and mobility, osteoporosis and bone health

This event is suitable for anyone working with older adults in the community, including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Primary Care Practitioners, Support Workers, Community Aged Care Workers, and GPs.
