Falls Clinic Day Therapy Unit – Northam

The Falls clinic operates as part of the service provided by the Day Therapy Unit and this clinic provides assessment and treatment for those people who have fallen and are at high risk of repeated falls.

The program consists of:
• Initial assessments with your nurse, physio and OT, including a home visit where appropriate.
• An individual or group physio program.
• Education session on falls.

Admission to the Day Therapy Unit is via a Referral to this service through your General Practitioner, Emergency Department presentation, Therapist, Health Care Provider or a Self Referral. A treatment program will be provided to meet your individual needs and length of attendance is determined by these needs.
