Masters Pilates classes – Glen Forrest

Run by our physiotherapists, Masters Pilates is an exercise class designed for people over 60 who want to improve their strength, flexibility, posture and balance. The class focuses on whole body strengthening and stretching aiming to improve your ability with functional activities and reduce the chance of injury. Before you commence Pilates you will be need to be thoroughly assessed from a musculoskeletal and general health point of view. This is important to ensure the physio is aware of any pre existing problems or areas of weakness and its also a requirement for insurance purposes.
The initial assessment will include instruction in the basic exercises used in the class and posture correction.
