Home Modifications

TADWA aim to improve safety and access in and around the home. Their Occupational Therapists will assess you and your carer’s functional ability and your home environment and provide recommendations that will suit your needs. This could include:

•Access modifications including the installation of ramps, rails, steps and other modifications that help you access and live in your home more safely;

•Bathroom modifications such as the removal and replacement of a bath with a hobless shower etc., or a complete bathroom modification;

•Kitchen modifications to shelving and cupboard heights, accessibility options;

•Minor modifications including the installation of grab rails, hand held shower
hoses, lever taps, door wedges and the widening of doorways; and

•The installation of lifts and stair climbers.
