Move Your Body and Stand Strong!

Injury Matters and the South Lake Ottey Centre are partnering for this Stay On Your Feet® community event for older adults.
Learn about the importance of exercise for maintaining bone health to prevent Osteoporosis, falls and fall-related injuries.
Renate from the Injury Matters team will discuss why falls prevention is important as we age, and Ryan Woodbury from Perth Osteoporosis and Bone Health Clinic will provide insights into Osteoporosis and how to prevent it. They will be joined by Exercise Physiologist, Anthony, to provide strength and balance assessments.
Enjoy a Stand Strong exercise class demonstrating how to incorporate exercises that build your balance, strengthen your legs and maintain bone health. Then finish the event with a free morning tea!
