The Pilbara Community Alcohol and Drug Service, provided by Mission Australia, offers a range of services that assist individuals and communities to address drug and alcohol use and strives to increase the wellbeing of people living in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. Services are located in South Hedland, Karratha, Newman, Roebourne and Tom Price, with regular outreach to surrounding communities.

The service aims to engage directly with individuals, families and communities to:

  • Prevent problems arising from alcohol and other drug use
  • Provide treatment support for people struggling with their wellbeing
  • Community support to assist communities in becoming more resilient in coping with the effects of alcohol and other drugs
