SUMMARY:Breaking Barriers: multicultural communities in WA
DESCRIPTION:Western Australia (WA) has a rapidly increasing multicultural population\, made up of a variety of different cultural communities\, each with their own unique identity and experiences. With almost half of Australians having a parent born overseas (48.2%) and 27.6% of the population being born overseas themselves\, it is more important than ever to ensure health services and organisations are accessible to all. \nThe unique demographics of multicultural communities in WA and several contributing factors can increase the risk of injury within WA’s multicultural communities.
