DESCRIPTION:Falls and falls-related injuries remain a significant public health issue in Western Australia (WA)\, representing the leading cause of injury fatalities in 2020 and injury hospitalisations in 2021. Highlighting the incidence of falls-related fatalities\, hospitalisations\, and emergency department attendances throughout WA and the need to implement effective falls prevention initiatives\, Injury Matters will soon be releasing the WA Falls Report 2023. \nThe WA Falls Report 2023 reinforces the significant impact of falls on the WA community.
